Westside Diner in Grayling

Absolutely love this place....the best hot turkey sandwich I have ever had and the chicken strips are homemade awesomeness....5 stars all the WAY !!!!!

Food tasted amazing great service many people recomend it just loved it defenitly would reccomend this place.

Very glad we came here! Out of five of us, everyone was more than satisfied with our breakfast. Coffee never stopped coming, and the waitress was very nice and absolutely served us well and just often enough. As far as the meals, it was just awesome and filling. Homemade, American greatness. The place was pretty full, and I know why. I'm not from here, but it seems like somewhat of a local treasure, and if it isn't it's worthy of it. Everyone was just talking and the environment was great. The staff was very friendly.I feel myself getting a bit repetitive, so it's about done. Overall, great food, great staff, great environment. Deserves all the five star reviews.

Just stopped for a quick breakfast. We were not disappointed. The French toast was exactly how I make it and the pancake was just as delicious! Our bacon was crisp, just as we like it. Our waitress was prompt and courteous. Even the customers had smiles on their faces..& whatever they all ordered looked like large portions & yummy!!We’ll be back.

Everything is homemade, even the chicken tenders which are basically breast cut in half then fried. Great prices, very friendly service it's no wonder why this is a 5 star restaurant. What more can you ask for? 😎👍

Love this place. My girlfriend and I like to come here as often as we can. The only downside I can see? The fries taste like they were in the fish fryer. Please stop doing this.

My wife and I had the grouper dinner and it was absolutely delicious and included a salad, vegetable, baked potato and two large pieces of grouper. For about $11 it was an excellent value. The other three people in our party were also very pleased with their selections and the waitress was very attentive.

Food was all around delicious. Interior design is all decorated to match a teal, seacoast-like theme. Enjoyed the customer service. Not the restaurant's issue but the people eating there were pretty rude in staring at my group, us being from a different ethnicity.

Western Scramble is my favorite here. Huge portion and always delicious

Very Poor Service!! Waited over an Hour and 20 minutes and never received our food. The manager came out and was rude to other customers who also did not receive their food orders, blaming it on how the food was ordered, never addressing that we had waited over an hour and 20 minutes. The waitress never came and gave us updates on our order only when I had to flag her down and ask. Another customer came only minutes after us and ordered minutes apart and received their food paid their bill and left before our waitress came and gave us an update on what was going on. And she was not wearing a mask! to say the least we left and will never be back... HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!

Absolutely amazing breakfast, super friendly staff as usual.We ordered, got our food within 10 minutes, ate & we were out the door within 30 minutes!! Best breakfast in town hands down!!

This is a very low-key yet quite impressive diner. I stopped by in hopes of filling my hungry stomach on my road trip. I only found that the food here was much more than just filling. My breakfast was rich and delicious! The place seemed very well embedded in local community, and the staff treated eaters with down-to-earth friendliness.

Staff are friendly and always looking to please. Food is high quality with a large amount to choose from. The only reason this isn't a 5 star is that the wait times while not too far from the norm, were sub optimal. Overall is a great resteraunt i will likely be frequenting due to its proximity to camp grayling.

West side diner was delicious, the service was great and quick, and the atmosphere was friendly. Highly recommend! (And if you have a sweet tooth, definitely try the chocolate/cherry/walnut pancake!)

This place is awesome fast with their food! Yummy for the tummy! Meat Lovers Omelette, Hash Browns, Raisin Toast.

Came in for the first time today and had an amazing experience. Our server Beth was great! We were unsure on what to order and she was great at offering suggestions which we tried and LOVED! Watching the orders come out of the window, everything looked delicious. And HUGE! I had the Farmers Omelette, my daughter had the Chicken strip dinner (to go box needed as it was HUGE) and boyfriend had the Country Chicken... We all sampled each other’s food. If you’re looking for great service, delicious food and awesome prices then this is the place for you! Thank you Beth and staff... we WILL be back

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the staff was very friendly!

I was in the area visiting a friend from the area. I asked him where he would like to eat and he immediately said Westside Diner. We were greeted by several friendly faces, and asked to have a seat wherever we like. The service was wonderful and the for was very good and plentiful. I would highly recommend the Westside Diner to anyone who lives in the area or if you are just passing through. Thank you for a great meal and great service!

The food was very good and staff friendly. The only problem I had was that none of the staff was wearing their masks. They had them on but tucked under the chin. If our waitress would of stayed the required distance it would have been better. It made me feel uncomfortable because of the CDC guidelines. I would have given them 5 stars if not for that.

Great food awesome staff. The food portions are large. Been there several times and plan on stopping there when in the area.

Meat loaf was good. It had a sweet flavor. Not all want that. Over all happy. Top 3 in Grayling mich.

I was there about 3 weeks ago and employees were wearing their masks under their chin. What good does that do?! Also know somebody that was there last week after masks were mandated and still employees not wearing masks. Will never go back until they start complying with the regulations that are required.

Enjoyed the food and service.

Simple design but amazing food. Stopped here on the way back home and we were pleasantly surprised. We both got breakfast and eggs were cooked perfect and not swimming in grease like most diners. The bacon was thick and the ham was tender. Coffee was good and service was friendly and swift. I will keep this starred on my map to stop anytime we are passing through.
